Reader’s Showcase “Digital SLR Photography” Magazine, Aug 2011

Two of my photographs have been chosen for selection in this month’s Digital SLR Photography magazine. I’m particularly proud, as the magazine contacted me directly through my website. It’s not the first time I’ve had work published, but it felt particularly good, as it came off the back of winning ePHOTOzine.com’s coveted “Photo of the Week” for a shot I took of an Azure Damselfly.

The images (“Common Darter” and “Golden Mayfly”) appear on page 29 of the magazine, in the Reader’s Showcase section. The magazine is on general release from July 12th, and costs £3.99

“Azure Damselfly” wins Photo of the Week on Ephotozine

“Azure Damselfly” has just won a number of awards on photographic site http://www.ephotozine.com, including the Editor’s Choice Award, Guest Editor’s Award and Readers Choice Award. This means I can expect to be gracing my wall with a rather large canvas very soon!

In all seriousness, I’m very proud of this, as the site receives around 4000 photo uploads every week, and I faced some very stiff competition. I’d just like to thank everyone for all the support I’ve received on this image.
